This video will show how to do your first file import. GoldMine can import csv files but you need to know how to do it and pretty quick you will be a pro. Just make certain you did video 5 (Adding GoldMine User-Defined Fields [Custom Fields]) because the columns in the csv you want to import has to have a field in GoldMine. Once the data has a home in GoldMine importing should be a snap.
Out of the box GoldMine comes with many of the fields that you need to run your business. But every business no matter what you want to track, the industry you are in or even the size of your company there are fields which are important specifically to you. With GoldMine you can easily add new fields to accommodate everything you want to track on your customers
Easy step… create users to log into and use GoldMine.
Since GoldMine is a client-server application, after you have installed the application server and followed all the important installation guide setup info you then need to install a client on the users computer.
